Terakeet Named a Best Company to Work for in NY for the 4th Year

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (July 29, 2021) – Rochester Business Journal, Best Companies Group, and the New York State Society for Human Resource Management (NYS-SHRM) have honored Terakeet as one of their Best Companies to Work for in 2021. The rankings were announced at a virtual awards event held on Wednesday, July 28th. Terakeet took the 16th spot among large-sized businesses at this year’s virtual award ceremony. Terakeet was last honored at the 2020 awards, where they placed 5th in the medium-sized category.
Created in 2007, this annual program is a celebration of the top employers in the state who have created an environment where people report feeling welcomed and valued. It evaluates and ranks New York employers based on employee satisfaction and engagement, as well as workplace practices and policies. It is unique because employees’ survey responses count for 75% of the ranking formula, along with an evaluation of each registered company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics.
Some of the programs recognized at Terakeet included its flexible work arrangements, mental and physical health support programs, and team-building events.
