Amira Bennerson (she/her) is a Content Specialist at Terakeet. Currently, she serves as the BIPOC-ERG’s Secretary where she collaborates with Terakeet’s leadership to create a better, more inclusive environment for all employees.
Amira is a content writer, digital strategist, and communications professional with a decade of experience working with creative teams within various organizations to engage with their target audience members and enhance their community reach. Her areas of expertise include education, environmental sustainability, sciences, personal finance, and retail marketing.
A proud U.S. Virgin Islander, Amira earned her B. A in Creative Writing and a minor in Environmental Sustainability Studies from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. In 2018, she earned her M.S. in Education Research from Georgia State University. Currently, she lives with her spouse Michael LaGon and their cat, Bridgette in the Atlanta Metro Area.
