Terakeet Named 10th Best Large Company to Work for in NY

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (April 14, 2022) – Rochester Business Journal, Best Companies Group, and the New York State Society for Human Resource Management (NYS-SHRM) have honored Terakeet as one of their Best Companies to Work for in 2022.
The rankings were announced at an in-person awards event held on Wednesday, April 13 in Albany, NY. Terakeet took the 10th spot among large-sized businesses at this year’s ceremony. Terakeet was last honored at the 2021 awards, where they placed 16th in the large-sized category. This is the fifth consecutive year that Terakeet has been honored.
Created in 2007, this annual program is a celebration of the top employers in the state who have created an environment where people report feeling welcomed and valued. It evaluates and ranks New York employers based on employee satisfaction and engagement, as well as workplace practices and policies. It is unique because employees’ survey responses count for 75% of the ranking formula, along with an evaluation of each registered company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics.
Some of Terakeet’s programs that were recognized by the award include flexible work arrangements, mental and physical health support programs, and team-building events.

Identifying and recognizing these employers of choice in the Best Companies to Work for in New York list is a joint effort of the New York State Society for Human Resource Management (NYS-SHRM) and Best Companies Group.
